Dr. Anne Riley, MD, FACC
Dr. Riley received her Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College with a major in Biology in 1999.
She then worked at McKinsey and Company as a management consultant focusing on growth and strategy projects in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors. She found that while the strategy of healthcare was interesting, her true passion lay in healthcare delivery.
She then went onto New York University School of Medicine, graduating in 2005 with the Alpha Omega Alpha Award. She completed internal medicine internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and then cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
After completing her post graduate training, she began her career in 2011 as a general cardiologist at Beth Israel Deaconess-Needham and BIDMC. She is the immediate past President of the Medical Staff at BID-Needham and a past Chair of Internal Medicine at BID-Needham. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
In her free time, she reads fiction and rides her beloved Peloton bike. She lives in Wellesley with her husband and four children.
Dr. Meghan York, MD, FACC
Dr. York received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College with a concentration in English and American Literature in 1997.
She then worked at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office in the health insurance section of the Regulated Industries Division, where she mediated disputes over medical benefit coverage submitted by consumers against commercial health insurance companies.
She then went on to Drexel University School of Medicine, graduating in 2004 with the Alpha Omega Alpha Award.
She completed internal medicine internship and residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and then cardiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, with the role of chief fellow in her final year.
After completing her post graduate training, she began her career in 2011 as a general cardiologist at Beth Israel Deaconess-Needham and BIDMC. She is the current Chair of Internal Medicine at BID-Needham, the Secretary of the American College of Cardiology’s Massachusetts Chapter, and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
In her free time, she plays tennis and spends time by the ocean. She lives in Needham with her husband and two children.
